Not a stressful game, which is nice for a change. One of the best RPGs on N64 and the best game in the series. Classic.

By reading the summary on the back of the game, I can't think of anyone that would be interested in playing it. It really seems very routine, even boring. The 'chore' aspect of farming everyday is time consuming, but working towards the larger goal is actually satisfying. You'll want to get the 'best ending.' Somehow, when you pick this game up, it becomes addicting. You become attached to your character, his goals, and the people in the town. The festivals are really fun! Admittedly, graphically, it comes up short. The story is great, the characters are even better. You don't play to repair the farm, which may seem like the ultimate goal. Although that is the sole purpose of the game, it is the 'side' quests that pull you in. If you're looking for a satisfying game that you'll pick up and won't put back down, Harvest Moon 64 is a great choice.
