This is a great game. It suffers from a slow beginning that may turn some people off, but is charming and fun throughout

For this installment in the Harvest Moon Chapter, Natsume has pulled out all the customization stops. Harvest Moon A New Beginning is a charming and fun game, that has a lot of character and potential, mostly based on what the player makes of it. You can go further than before by not only editing your farm, but editing the entire village your next to. Unfortunately, this creates a boring first month, because there will only be a few people living in the town.

However, if you can get past that first month, the game has a lot of things to show you and offer. It can be a little frustrating to complete the town restoration objectives, and I docked a point because if you play a little too slow or mess up early on it can send you into a 1-3 season stalemate where you will not be able to upgrade the town because there are none of the materials you need.

I recommend buying it, you won't regret it.
