Gameplay gets boring quickly, but would still recommend for Harry Potter fans.

User Rating: 6.5 | Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup PS2
The only Harry Potter sports game to date, this last gen game from EA is one i have fond memories of, even if it is not the best quality of gaming. It centers around the fictional sport of Qudditch from the Harry Potter universe. The gameplay is fun at first, letting you use bludgers, offensive and defensive special moves, as well as a Team Special Move. But after getting the core basics down, the matches become increasingly simple, and to unlock harder difficulties, you must play on the smaller ones first, gaining Wizard cards until you get enough to unlock a new difficulty. It was not until Firebolt level that it started to get even remotely challenging. I seriously had to let the other team score to even make it interesting.

You meet plenty of familiar faces during your training levels at Hogwarts, where you get to play as one of the 4 School Houses before moving onto the World Cup. The Roster features teams from countries across the Globe, but strangely fails to include Ireland, one of the two teams from the World Cup in Goblet of Fire. Most of the stadiums are actually well rendered, the Japanese and Nordic coming to mind to start.

Overall this is not a horrible game, and if you are a diehard Harry Potter fan like me, then I feel like you will get alot of mindless enjoyment out of this game. But that's what you are getting, repetitive, mindless enjoyment.
