Probably not the worst Harry Potter game out there, but it's pretty bad!

User Rating: 4.5 | Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 PC
The follows the events in the last movie of Harry Potter. It kind of uses the storyline to drive you through endless amounts of obstacle courses where you need to fight of the dark lord's servants, and then eventually to face Voldemort himself.

The one thing the game did pretty well for me was that it explained a lot of the finer details that were so well written in the books, but kind of only touched on in the movie, better and shorter. You get a few lines of dialogue which then puts a lot of puzzles together.

Playing this game on a PC was a nightmare. The Video's and the sound didn't match up and it sounded like my PC kept needing a restart. This is just when watching the Cinematics. The game had issues with dropping frame rates whenever there are more than 6 people on the screen. This made it almost impossible to aim at anything.

The game is in essence a cover based shooter game. Although it doesn't really offer you anything in terms of skill needed to play as the game does a kind of auto lock on all the enemies anyway. You get a few different spells, each one looks different and sounds different, and one or 2 have different effects, like breaking shields and sniper like abilities. This was a good idea and deffo an upgrade from the last game.

I liked the fact that you got to play as a multitude of different people. Not just Harry. What I didn't like was that there was a loading screen that gave you ample time to make coffee while you wait for it to finish loading.

There are soooooo many bugs in this game as well making it really an annoying thing to play. Especially when you're needing to run away from something and Harry decides to stand till and quiver in fear.

It's an aweful game. It's not the worst though, I think that prize goes to Prisoner of Azkaban for me. Just really not worth the money I spent on it.
