The worst halo game to date, right behind reach.

User Rating: 5 | Halo 3: ODST X360
Halo 3: Odst was originally said to be an "expansion" to halo 3. If this was a $20 expansion then i would be alot more forgiving of this awful excuse of a halo game. The character's aren't even close to like-able and the plot of the game is forgettable. I'll give bungie credit, they did try to give halo a new edge with a noir inspired theme which while it's interesting, doesn't really make up for the lack of actually interesting gameplay. Also, as many reviewers have said before me the main campaign mode is extremely short clocking in at about 4-5 hours tops.

The two saving grace of this game are the firefight mode and the included second disc which includes all of halo 3's multiplayer content. Firefight, is simply halo's take on other co-op survival modes such as Horde in Gears of War or Nazi Zombies in Call of Duty World at War. It's alot of fun as you desperately fighting against never-ending waves of covenants troops that increase in difficulty as continue to fight. The multiplayer disc, on the other hand is sure to offer tons of replay value if like me were a fan of halo 3's insanely addictive online component. With all the maps and dlc from the game, also including a brand new map pack which includes three new maps which although, don't add much to the content of the game are welcome addition.

Honestly if you don't like halo, just avoid it this crap, and if you are a halo fan then i would play it, but don't expect to hold up to any of the previous games in the series'.
