Half-Life 2 was an impressive game back in 2004 and has aged incredibly well.

If you compare Half-Life 2 with the games of 2004 and what the Source engine is able to accomplish, it's really the best looking game eight years ago. The engine beautifully display character emotions and is capable of great looking lighting and textures. Half-Life 2 is displays what the PCs can do without the fatigue of consoles holding it back. Then it was ported to the Xbox a year later...

Classic no aiming down the sights type of first person shooter with new features of the time like extremely great physics and destruction and cinematic gameplay elements. Half-Life 2 adds a fun gravity gun where you can pick up explosive barrels and other objects and shoot them at your foes. Half-Life 2 is truly a fun and great game that looks awesome.
