Half-Life 2: Episode One

I thought this was excellent. Even though it was SHORT. I didn't mind, I found it really compelling and well done. The use of puzzled kept me thinking while at some points irritated the heck out of me.

Having Alex as an ally to help fight off enemies is rather enjoyable. She will Allow cover in certain point, as well as spurt out funny remarks.

The levels, well, that look utterly fantastic especially with the new lighting tech thing. My computer isn't really good, however, I still managed to play it without problems and it still looked pretty excellent.

All in all, this game is quite wonderful and you will learn more about the story in Half Life 2. Personally, I believe that these episodes will be a good transition between HL2 and HL3 (if there is one). This game does cut it off a bit short, but it is still worth playing.
