Massive firepower at it's finest, a MUST BUY for any Gameboy Advance owner

User Rating: 9 | Gunstar Super Heroes GBA
A sequel to the Sega genesis game to appear on the Gameboy Advance to what I can say is a very good improvement to the series and offers what Treasure can always deliver.

Gunstar Super Heroes offers an intense shooter which no other game on any platform including the Gameboy Advance can offer. The story is set after the first game where after the final boss of the first game created an explosion which created four moons. A fifth moon is reveal which holds plans to resurrect the evil force which appeared from the first game.

With great graphics and solid framerateā€¦ you will be jumped by loads of enemies with huge amounts of ammo rounds shot at you. You play from either character named 'Blue' or 'Red', they both have a different arsenal of weapons and they have unique firepower. Some moves from the first game were taking out which are throwing enemies to the floor and being able to select your weapon.

You also have a charge super attack weapon, which when activated can unleash a powerful attack which takes up most of the screen.

At the end of most sections of the level, you encounter a boss, which like in all Treasure games, are a challenge to beat and take up most of the game. The game throw you into the action and massive firepower of most parts of the game really do satisfy the gameplay needs.

The game is short with six levels, however the levels offer a range of really cool features, from flying the copter or spaceship in some parts.

However it's the biggest recommendation to buy on the Gameboy Advance alone, the games execution makes the game unique and anyone who pass this game for something elseā€¦ is solely missing out.
