A Half-Life MOD inlfuence by Turok

I really enjoyed Half-Life, so when I saw this game and found out that it was from the same graphics engine as Half-Life I looked forward to playing it. I think I bought it for less than $10, and it really was worth all that. The game itself is very short. I won't take long to beat and it is a lot easier than Half-Life. I played it on the highest difficulty setting and it was hard, but I still beat it within ten hours. The easiest setting lastest for about five hours. The graphics on it aren't nearly as polished as Half-Life. I feel as though if this game had came out before Half-Life, Half-Life would've just been taking this game to the next level. But as it was it wasn't nearly as good as Half-Life, but similar, so everyone compared it to that. As a game by itself it was fun and worth the money. I honestly feel that the main idea of the game was borrowed by Halo. Especially when I played the begining of Halo 2, I had the feeling of the begining of Gunman. The sounds on the game are crappy. They really aren't that great. There is a little bit of a stereo effect, but nothing outstanding. It more distracting most of the time. But this game should run on any system that's at least Windows 98 or 95 and if you find it for less than $5, I'd say that it is well worth that amount of money. It can be a fun game if you forget about Half-Life for a little bit.
