A good game to play with your friends, but the online community is generally a ****

User Rating: 6.7 | GunBound PC
The game itself is pretty good with decent graphics and gameplay, but that does not make up for the many short-tempered players who has lost the reason to play a game. People will be pissed off at any other player who isn't highly experienced with the game that will make a mistake or two. There are very few left who still play the game and actually play for fun instead of bragging rights and being better than everybody else. If you have ever played the game, variations of "noob" will be used way too often.

The game splits into three servers having rank limitations on each (Beginner, Intermediate and Free). The beginner server is supposedly for newcomers to learn to play the game but even then, some experienced players make new accounts and still, in the beginner server, brag about how "noob" their opponents are.

Your avatar gives your character stats for when you play a game and will boost damage, defense and along with many other stats. You will acquire gold by playing in games and you can buy your items at the avatar shop. For some who do not wish to pay out of their wallets just to get some avatar without extensive playing, they are often frowned at when one joins a game and is stationed on the game master's team. People who start game rooms will usually look for players with heavy, heavy avatar on their own team and people with very few avatar on the opposing team. This does not necessary state that people with good avatar is more skilled so I believe the community is very biased.

Jerks lurk in 90% of the game rooms so it destroys the fun of playing the game because somebody will always swear using different symbols to avoid the game's anti-cursing system.

If my review was based on the core of the game, I would definitely have given a higher score, but with an online community containing low-lives who insult non-stop degrades the online gaming community as a whole.
