Fun and charmingly presented in an old school kind of way.It's a decent shoot em up game.

This package contains 2 arcade style shoot em up games and they're easy to pick up and play and quite fun and this is a budget priced title so it all works out nicely.This is one of those upwards scrolling shooters.You'll need good dodging skills to avoid enemy projectiles and you'll and you'll want to shoot as many enemies as possible(so there's less enemies shooting at you).If you think you cannot get past a wall of enemy projectiles you can create giant blasts that will destroy the enemy projectiles and all the enemies on the screen(besides the bosses)but you only have a limited amount of them.You can collect upgrades to make your weapons have a wider shooting radius.

In Gunbird games,the screen will sometimes almost entirely fill up with enemy projectiles and even though there's always a way to dodge them it can be quite challenging to do so.If you run out of lives,you'll restart the last mission you were up to.And sometimes it can be challenging clearing a stage and defeating it's boss before you run out of lives.

There's a variety of aerial vehicles you can select,which all have different patterns of gunfire.The aerial vehicles you can select can be things such as and elderly man on a helicopter style vehicle and other things and they have a cartoony/anime style look to them.

The graphics are Sega Saturn/PSone quality(which is the time period these games were made).Even though the graphics are a bit dated,you'll still see cute Japanese style things such as giant robots and a boss who is a massive knight and some stages will be casltes or military bases or over the ocean or surrounded by colorful clouds.The weaponfire from your vehicle is colorful and mixes different colors when you upgrade your weapons and you'll see them firing missles.Besides the cute,colorful things,you'll also encounter enemy aircraft and anti-air defense.

You see colorful anime style story scenes for each character when you complete the game.

This game simple game,has a charming old schoool style presentation and budget priced and might be worth a pick up if you find it in the bargain bin.
