world tour isnt the perfect sequel , but the great setlist and the ability to play full band makes up for that.

User Rating: 8 | Guitar Hero World Tour X360
the good:great setlist. finally get the ability to play with a full band. core gameplay is fun.drums and guitar work much better than when released back in 2008. deep rocker creator, and guitar creator. decent drum creator.has jimi hendrix, ozzy osbourne, the drummer from blink 182, and more.

the bad:career mode could have been better.. graphics are passable at best. music studio is hard to use.mic creator isnt deep at all. some problems in multiplayer.

in 2009, i review guitar hero world tour and gave it an 8.5 though after getting the full band set, im more aware with the problems with the game. so here my UPDATE review to world tour.

as we all know, back in 2005, harmonix worked on a game called guitar hero, for its time it was a hit. then they did it again with guitar hero 2 (also including the re release on the xbox360 when activision bought red octane) but after the 80 spin off, MTV games bought harmonix and started working on rock band (the first full band experience) while neversoft tucked the guitar hero franchise in its belt.

after another game and a spin off. we finally got a full band guitar hero game.

the game doesnt really have much of the songs open up for you at the start, though they want you to open up the songs in career mode (where they introduce you in a charming animated cutscene, then ends with a charming animated cut scene.)this mode has 5 parts.(bass, guitar, vocals, drums, and full band)and five difficulty(beginner, easy, normal, hard, expert.)though its cool to see your band logo and name, the other part of the band is generated in random characters(my band code red should have a punk rock setting, not a hippy setting darn it.)

plus the mode its self is nothing more than booking gigs and earnig money for clothes and instruments (where even the first rockband had your band going around the world, earning vans, tourbuses, groupies, airplanes, the list goes on) because i found it often i only booked a gig that i didnt even like to play a song i wanted to play.

the career mode may be lacking, the setlist is not bad at all.you get no sleep til brooklyn, about a girl unplugged, everlong, santeria, hot for teacher, and many more. also you can make your own songs. how this works depends on how much time you put into it

the multiplayer is great, though some problems suck some fun out of it. for example, the four band members have a meter that tells you how good there doing, though this is no help at all, as if 1 band member fails, the other members do to.

though the fun of gameplay is still there and must of the fun will be with your friends.(yelling or arguing)
