Best entry to the series, even prior to the added peripheral war. Very innovative when it first released..

This game was alot of fun when it first came out. Of course nothing else existed like it. Game style was new and flashy.
The star power really was a life saver in last ditch moments to save yourself in online and co-op gameplay.

It had a SOLID set list with a great range of music, in fact this game opened me up to alot of the bands I love today.

I wish there was only more stages or variety to gameplay. Of course that was added on in later games but they didn't shine as bright as this one. There is a vast catalouge of DLC however, but again down side is your paying the same price on itunes to just own the song on your ipod.

All in all a solid entry to the music genre game. I never played 1 or 2, so if you haven't either you can still jump in at this point in the GH saga. It has a nice ramp up in difficulty. The hardest leap is from medium to hard in where great hand eye coordination is needed.

So if you need good time fun, good music and challenging gameplay, this is it.
