What you would expect from the series. As good as GH3 as long as you like the songs.

What you would expect for a Guitar hero game. No need to review it really.. it is GH with aerosmith.

One of the differences are the hammer on's. You now have to be more presice and switch to the hammer on as it hits the strum line. No longer can you hold onto it and have it play when it hits the strum line. If you do this will cause a miss. You have to hit the next hammer on as it passes the strum line and not before.
The difficulty seems to have been toned down. Activision made mention of this before the game was released. Players looking for more of a challenge will find the game easier than GH3.

Graphics- Really of no issue to any Guitar Hero game. You are watching colored buttons pass by on the screen. For those that do care.. there is a slight improvement from GH3 in my opinion.. Though perry looks like a manquin and tylers mouth is a little too big.

Fans of co-op career will be upset with the absence of this feature. There is still co-op though the career is no longer there.

Songs- Not all of Aerosmiths biggest hits are in here. People may wonder why don't want to miss a thing, angel, janie's got a gun, and some others are not on the disk. Possible reason could be they would be boring to play as there is not a lot of guitar "riffs" in there.

It all comes down to whether you like the song list or not, or aerosmith for that matter. If you do then pick it up if you are a guitar hero fan. For people who have never played the series before I would suggest GH3 as there are a lot more songs and a variety of bands.
