Forget Street Fighter this is THE 2-D fighting series of the new millenium!
Though not known by many, the Guilty Gear franchise blows anything which Capcom has produced completely out of the water. With its addictive and skillful gameplay coupled with top quality character animation, this is one of the most under-rated games ever produced.
One of the things which sets Guilty Gear apart from other 2-D fighters is the diversity of the characters in the roster. From powerful anti-hero Sol Badguy to mixed up demi-god Dizzy there's something to cover everyone's taste. And each character plays entirely different from the others as well making picking your favourite and destroying the opposition that much more satisfying.
The music and sound effects within the game really add to the experience as the game is set to a heavy metal rock riff which is really in keeping with the style and power of the series.
Those of you who are familar with Guilty Gear will doubtless be asking what's new in this version. All the characters from Guilty Gear X2 are in place along with newcomers Ada, Robo Ky II and Order Sol (a version of Sol Badguy when he was part of the Holy Order). Unlockable characters also remain although i wont reveal those here!
