if you're a fan of Guilty Gear games, or just a fighting game fan with a PSP, you should definetly import this game.

this game is a port of the original console version Guilty Gear XX#Reload. Despite it being a straight port, its done perfectly and its a great fighting game. The game has around 20 characters in all, and they are all different and very original. there is no character in this game that is similar to any others in other fighting series. there is a character with a gigantic scalpel, a pool stick, a one armed samurai, a vampire, a crazy possessed man, a person with hair as a weapon, a guitar playing witch, and many more. the gameplay is fast and frantic, and very fun. but you would know all of this if youve seen the console versions of this game. the best part about this game is the fact that everything in XX is all here, the story mode, the mission mode, survival mode, M.O.M mode, and almost the exact same graphics.the psp version has the same graphics except for tiny sharp edges that are noticeable, but in fast gameplay, the game looks almost the same. the blast effects look just as good if not better on the bright psp's screen. the controls remain the same, except that the taunt action is the L button and DUST is the R button. the d-pad maybe be a problem to some people, but im just fine with it. the japanese import is completely in english except for the dialogue in story mode. and also you will have to hit the O button instead of the X button for getting around the main menu. for the price of $40 for the import, you should definetly buy this game, because the american release will not be coming till september, and this the best fighting game for PSP so far.
