Guilty Gear Is it Worth It?

User Rating: 8 | Guilty Gear XX Accent Core WII
This is a review for Guilty Gears wii. It is a fighting game for wii. The game is for wii, ps2 and psp. It is great on all versions. On wii, though, you have to be careful. The game is good to play if you have a gamecube or a classic controller. The controls on the wii and nun chuck are horribly setup, and having two different attacks chained to the wii remotes motion swing is annoying and hard to pull of. The story. You won't know the story unless you've played past games. You have different techniques every character can pull of. Slashbacks are basically counter attacks. Roman cancels and force roman cancels are used to cancel attacks. Bursts is an energy blast that sends an enemy flying but causes no damage. Each character has a punch, kick, dust, slash, heavy slash, and foot sweep attack. They also have special attacks, force breaks or more powerful specials, overdrive attacks and an instant kill. Each character has three different forms. AC mode has all the abilities. GG mode increases your speed, and makes insta kills easier to pull of and GGX increases your attack power. They game is challenging even on the default difficulty. All the characters are unlocked in the beginning but you can unlock EX versions. The cancels and counters take time to learn but is very rewarding. With 20 characters, and hours of gameplay, i give this an 8 out of 10. However, spend the money on the plus versions which has more modes, and two new characters but you can't find it at gamestop. I will be reviewing Guilty Gears XX Accent Core Plus soon.
