-Great deal, monetarily. Not only are there no monthly fees, but this particular package includes three games.
-Many different professions
-Colossal number of skills and equipment to choose from
-Very different ways to experience the game depending on:
-Very different playing styles
-Excellent multi-player experience
-Lots of titles to work towards
-Lots of optional exploration
-Interesting enemies
CONs:
-By now, the graphics are outdated
-PvP isn't for everyone. You have to spend a lot of time experimenting with different builds. Not necessarily a con for everyone, but it was for me.
-Gets really repetitive after a while
-The cut-scenes are terrible (they're created on-the-go so that your party is visible but still)
-The voice-acting is also pretty bad
Other thoughts:
Well, if you want a good online RPG experience, this is it. It's not like the traditional MMORPG, because the worlds are instanced for your party. It prevents kill-stealing, camping and all those other ugly problems. But it also makes the world seem a little barren. It's a different experience altogether, more along the lines of a traditional RPG. The internet connection only seems to be there to help you form parties. That being said, the experience is really good and you'll actually have to rely on your skills and team co-operation. I've tried PvP many times, but I'm neither good at it nor does it appeal to me that much. But PvE is awesome.
