This MMO focuses more on skill than constant hours of playing, and plenty of stuff to keep you going!

Guild wars came out in 2005 I believe. I never had bothered to try the trial, because I heard it was free and I thought that must mean it sucks. Guild Wars is F2P to a point. You buy the game and then it is completely free. For that reason I believe not to look at this as a MMO, but it is also much like any other game. There are three seperate games, Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall, as well as an expansion: Eye of the North, and bonus mission pack. I tried the trial first and I had to say, the combat is best out of any MMO I've ever tried. I say that because if you don't believe me, try the trial, its completely free. I think I should say I played Runescape for 3-4 years. While Runescape is rewarding, it is all a grind. I never have gotten and 99 because it just is so repetitive. I honostly don't know what I did on it. Once I tried WOW and Guild Wars, I saw that Runescape was junk. Guild wars is not a grind, WOW is okay although I only tried the trial for maybe an hour. I didn't really like it. ( I have never played factions, nightfall, eye of the north, any extras or PVP YET) Anyway to the elemants of the game:

Character Customization
Basicly all you do is, class, gender, choose from some decent amount of hairstyle, color and face. Probably the best part is you are able to dye any of your armour. This is probably want I would want to see in alot of other MMO's. Anyway, after that choose a name and your off. Also the list of classes are Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Necromancer, Mesmer, Elementalist, Assassin, Rituialist, Dervish, Paragon.

Story
The land of Tyria is in danger. Ascelon is a city in Tyria constantly threatened by the vicious Char. You must help Prince Rurik and party up with your henchman, heroes, and other players to help save Tyria( Or Cantha and whereever Nightfalls is).

Graphics
The best of any MMO out there and loads in less that 10 seconds. I've only encountered lag once, other than that it runs smoothly.

Sound
Not much to listen too but dont take my word for it. I turn sound off on everything for some reason.

Controls
They're very well worked and I love the auto-targeting thing where you just press space to attack. It helps
