Gravity Rush was the first game I bought on my newly acquired PS4. Gravity Rush originally was a Vita title back in 2012, but has seen a re-release as of this year. The game starts with a nameless girl who wakes up in the middle of a town. She meets a cat which gives her the power to control gravity, which she uses to eliminate the threat of a gravity storm.
In terms of gameplay, I think they did a great job on the gameplay. The combat works well, the gravity shifting elements work well too. Only thing that I kind of had a problem with was mid-air combat, especially the Gravity Kick move which sometimes fails to hit even at a close proximity. Otherwise, it plays really well.
The game also visually looks amazing for a PS4 remake. All of the game's areas in amazing HD as well as looking colourful too. Playing through the game's missions can be fun as well. From doing the side missions added into the game to going around defeating bosses for the extra gems is what makes this game a lot of fun! Utilizing the gravity tricks to traverse to different areas or using the transport system. Also, I love the quirky and fun dialogue that goes on between various characters.
I guess the only minor flaw I have with the game is how short it was. Luckily, the sequel is going to be longer than that so it's ok. I highly recommend this game if you haven't bought it yet!
