Sorry GTA SA, Time to move over GTA V is here and it is my new favorite.
Ever since I first saw the trailer back in late 2011! I have been going onto every website trying to find a release date each and every week. Then I found one. Some said it was supposed to come out in Fall of 2012 but then it got moved to December 2012 and THEN GOT MOVED again to Spring 2013! But then! DELAYED! until September.
Now that the game is finally out and I have made some progress through it. I have to say it is the BEST GTA game ever. Yes surpassing my favorite for the longest time GTA SA.
I first played GTA IV in 2010 initially 2 years after the game had come out. as I still had a 6th gen console in 2008. But when I first played GTA IV I thought it was pretty awesome but not as awesome as GTA SA. GTA IV looked realistic and had a good story and a big metropolis to explore. But it was smaller than GTA SA! They took out RPG elements such as Strength, Stamina, Muscle & Etc.
Even the 2 DLC Expansions couldn't even hold a candle to SA. The DLC's paled in comparison to thhe Original GTA IV anyway though they were okay.
So GTA IV while it was a great game it still was not as good as the beloved GTA San Andreas.
Grand Theft Auto V is here! And man I have to tell you this is my new favorite GTA game of all time. You don't get 1 but 3 different main characters in ONE GAME! You can switch between them at any given time (at least for the most part) The graphics look AMAZING even this late in 7th Gen's life span! The map is BIGGER than GTA SA's The radio stations are awesome. You chase Lazlow down in one mission.
GTA V is great it's just amazing. I will admit I did get mad the 3 or 4 times the game was delayed. But In retrospect I shouldn't have got angry. Because they took their time with this game and made it AMAZING!!
