excellent but hype leads to let down.
The problem comes from the hype from so called professional reviewers. Some of them led us to believe we were getting southern California on a disk. That is absolute BS.
Yes it is the biggest GTA game ever, but the wild talk about this being the size of every Rockstar game combined is way way short of reality.
It is basically GTA 4 Liberty City squished into a more round shape, with a big fat mountain above it, set on an island.
Also the car physics have taken a 3 game backward step. It is like playing with toy cars. They stick to the road like super glue and stop in an inch from 150 mph. Until you try and go up a slope, when all of a sudden they are slippery as an eel and just slide off.
The missions are pretty much run of the mill GTA stuff, but not quite so grinding as the last game.
The map is densely packed with detail, but dont expect Skyrim here, you won't get it.
