This is a very bland and repetitive game. The only fun i got out of this game was the destruction id cause.

Some game series' leave everl lasting impressions on the video game world. Those consisting of Halo, Killzone, Final Fantasty, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty and of course the mature and lude Grand Theft Auto series. These games can be funny and the fact you can do whatever the heck you want is a blast. But the general reason is to play the story of the game. I honestly do not like the story at all. Im 15, so what im mature enough to handle everything this game threw at me. It just wasnt that great, just drugs, sex, and violence. Its just a blast to destroy everything and anything in this game though. The only thing i ever did in the game was kill people at random and run from cops. Doing all that i give this game a 8.5 but the story made me subtract a .5, i almost made this game an 8.5 till the story ruined it for me.

The gameplay is good, the game does a great job of taking the 3rd person sandbox theme and executing it perfectly. The shooting is good and the over the shoulder shooting works great. The auto aim makes the shooting fun and just plain easy to shoot who ever the heck i want. The driving is amazing and the controls react great. The mayhem you can cause is amazingly fun. You can just shoot, run over, impale, scorch, and bomb whoever you want and that freedom is great. Anyone anywhere, you can drive and walk where you want. This games gameplay is the whole reason it deserves a 8.

The story is very shallow and there no point in doing it. People say im a crazy idiot becuase im not a big fan of GTA. Honestly all i did was beat the story and not like it, then i just plugged in cheats, and blew everything up that i could. Of course this game is great but the only great thing is the mayhem you can cause. Still a good game just the story has no point. The developers did to good of a job on the gameplay for the story to be goood.

All in all play this game because the destruction and mass killings you can cause will take that edge of anger you had in you and take it far away.
