This game isnt perfect but is a great attempt by EA being this thier first year and the first game to debut wii motion+
Gameplay- The gameplay is a hit and miss. well for a start its inconsitant, 1:3 of the times the wii remote will screw up causing you to etiher miss the ball or hit it the wrong direction causing you to lose the point which was a initaily a easy point win. But however the rest of the time you can pull of some great satisfying shots espicaly in mutiplayer its so satisfiying to pull a magnificant shot off agaisnt a real player. most of the time with the wii motion plus its very accurate what you do, and to be honest i think gamespot was very harsh, its a great attempt by EA to use this debuting wii motion plus. and its tons of fun if you can get over the screw ups evrey nown again.
Presentation- The graphics arnt esactly mind blowing as its a wii, but they are playable and the grandslam courts all look esactly how they should and still look very nice. the players however has a cartoony mii kind of look to them but still it looks like the players. however in creating a player its terrible, theres only 5r types of hairstyles, and they look blocky and fake.
The sound, is amazing!. the atmosphere is amazing it sounds esactly like a grandslam areana, for example the announcers properly anounce the players, when the match is in the crowd react perfectly to each shot, and you will get times where ethier someone will shout something funny at wimbledon and evreyone will laugh, or as you go to serve evreyone chants you , and the announcers says quite please. im extremely impressed with the sound its the best from any sports game ever.The comentators are quite basic though.
Mutiplayer- is just plain fun. the party games are very fun my favourite is king of the court very fun mode to play with three other mates round your house. This game is a great game to play with freinds round and has plenty of vairety of modes to play with freinds. now to the online, its very good, i thought i would be laggy, but its not, i havnt ever had a laggy match its very fun and satisifying playing real players over the world.
Overall- grand slam tennis, is a great first attempt and is a good game to play and if you are a tennis fan you must pick this game up its not perfect but its a good crack and im hoping that future grand slam games are going to improve opon this.
