GT6 is getting hate because its not a big change over GT5. I don't see how this is a problem when GT5 was good. GT games keep getting better and better.. slowly, but better. I never bought GT5 so for me GT6 is awesome.
It's a shame that car damage is still not in the game, but i can understand looking at the PS3 hardware. Damage is probably the biggest thing missing in GT6. On PS4 i expect this quality racing game to keep the great simulation driving and finally damage.
Graphics are amazing, specially on the premium cars and night time tracks, while the framerate is around the 50's.
There is about 1200 cars, 500 premium. A lot of cars to play with and tune up.
Like all GT games you race to make money and buy new cars or upgrade what you have. There is also special events which i found to be the most fun to play, from the moon rover mission, to goodwood festival of speed, to the Ayrton Senna DLC.
Did i mention DLC? Yes... but its free! GT6 keeps getting updated with new cars, tracks, modes, ect, every month, all for free. This adds very high value to an already big game. So internet connection is needed to get the most out of GT6. Not only to download the DLC for free, but play the seasonal events, which is new races you can play! Seasonal events get updated every week so there is always something new to do on GT6!
GT is the most realistic racing game ever. The car physics only get more realistic as new patches or new GT games are released. This is a true pro racing game. On PS4 i expect photorealistic graphics and damage, but for now GT6 is great fun to play on PS3.
