I do agree that this game had a great concept. Finding out for ourselves what exactly was going on is fun and interesting...but to me there wasn't many great twists or turns. The parents were having marital problems and the sister ran away with her lesbian lover, which was quite apparent very early on in the game to me. The game itself only took around 1 hour to complete, and for £15.. it is quite over-priced. I actually really liked the creepy atmosphere of the empty house, but feeling like something was about to happen. The most exciting parts was when Sam mentioned the ghost of their uncle Oscar, and finding his secret room (grabbing his crucifix only for the lights to blow out was terrifying, and also finding the room where the girls had done some kind of seance was pretty creepy). Like I said, there wasn't enough dramatics for me to completely enjoy the game. I think the game would have done better and more appreciated if it had gone into weirder/darker territory, it would have made it more intriguing to find out what had happened.. but I guess the makers of the game wanted to create a more realistic atmosphere and story. When the game ended it didn't leave much impact on me and was left feeling like I wished there had been more to the story... to me it was too mundane and a story that was taken out of a soap opera.
