One of the best games ever, and still holding up well after all these years....

In keeping with the film, Bond goes and does his business involving a ginger lady friend seemingly called Natalya who looks remarkably like Gillian Anderson.

Let's get the obvious stuff out the way first. The graphics are not as awesome as we used to think, and everyone in the game has an origami head. Other than that, there are very few bad points.

The music is a little dated perhaps, but varies depending on the level, so never becomes repetitive and feels in fitting with the 'mood' (I'm a particular fan of the elevator music in one of the levels :) ) Levels are sprawling and well thought-out, from open tundra to warren-like corridors. Varying difficulty levels are available, making gameplay comfortable for all gamers but to truly get satisfaction and unlock all the goodies you really need to complete the game on 00 agent. Unlockables consist of cheats and multiplayer levels, so it is well worth the playthrough. Plus, there's much more in the way of mission objectives in the harder modes.

Which brings me to the next point - multiplayer. Possibly the best fun you can have with your clothes on. Select weapon types (slappers only!) and choose from a great range of arenas and 4 of you can hurl abuse at each other in the same room. This is the original and best multiplayer.

Even without the multiplayer facility, the game stands well on it's own, even without driving levels/speedboat chases etc, because this is a great, solid game that has stood the test of time - and that's more than can be said for the other Bond games. A Must play.
