This is possibly the best FPS ever made and one of the best games ever made to date.

Nintendo were facing problems since the release of Super Mario 64 because the Playstation had already gotten great games like Grand Turismo, Crash Bandicoot and other great franchises. Sega's Saturn had great games too and the NIntendo 64 was not doing well. Then came Rare again like they did come and saved the SNES with Donkey Kong Country after almost being wiped out by the Sega Genesis. This time Rare produced Goldeneye 007, a James Bond movie based game which had alot of success in the movie industry.

This game was not really taken notice of until it's release and during its release it sold many copies on the first week. This game would become some of the most respected games in the near future and this game was going to be one of the best FPSs ever made alongside Halo: Combat Evolved and Half-Life.

The game is based on the movie and has similarities here and there. The game has great graphics for environments like the jungles of Cuba have great environments and even the characters look good. Only Natalya wasn't so well modeled. Boris, Trevelyan, Bond and Ouromov are very well modeled and Xenia is okay. The music is great and the difficulty is easy on Agent, normal on Secret Agent but the stealth gameplay comes in with the 00 Agent which is very, very hard.

The game also has multiplayer deathmatches and these are very good. You can choose the tpe of gameplay it will be like if you choose Normal you play the normal way with health and body armor if gotten. Note: There is no helath supplies in this game. There is also You Only Live Twice, in which the first person to die twice loses, then there is License to Kill and here one shot on any part of your body even if you have body armor you die. Then there are also The Living Daylights and other ones too.

The game also has some nice moments that like in one mission you start it in an elevator and the elevator is playing elevator music then when you step out you hear the real mission music, it's really cool and that's to show you that Rare really did this game with patience.

This game in my opinion is the best FPS ever made and one of the best games ever made. I highly doubt we will ever see Rare or anyone make such a great FPS like this for sometime, excluding Halo: Combat Evolved and Half-Life.
