Don't believe Gamespot! This is an absolute masterpiece and one of the best video games of all time!!!

Golden Axe II is, obviously, the sequel of Golden Axe, also a great game, but not better than this one. I read Gamespot's review, and I can tell you that the review is an absolute joke! They don't know the barbarity that they're saying. The best side-scrolling beat-em-up, that is better than streets of rage and final fight. This is a medieval game, where you can play as a barbarian, an amazon and a dwarf. The story is pretty simple, you have to retrieve the Golden Axe from Dark Guld, that later when you defeat him, you discover that he isn't the real bad guy, and then you have to fight The Emperor, the one that stole the Golden Axe. After you defeat him, the axe is put in it's place, and everyone's happy and the credits appear...this game seems pretty simple, but the fun that you'll get when you do this is absolutely amazing. I just love the soundtrack, it's beautifull! Now seriously, don't believe Gamespot, this game is an instant classic that will be in the memory of everyone that played it.
