In my opinion there were two games released in 2018 that stood above the rest. One of them is GOD OF WAR! First of all I had to say that delaying the release of this game in the past was well worth it because they got it right. The graphics and framerates were spot on. Switching from cinematic to gameplay was seamless, and the balance between game play and the relationship between father and son was masterfully done - excellent writing and display of emotions on all characters. NPCs were entirely believable with excellent writing tailored for each personality.
If you're looking for a game with a strong story line, game play , beautifully rendered environments, seamless framerate, and an immersion factor that will sap hours from your day, then this game is a obvious purchase.
My only gripe was how many times Kratos said "BOY". LOL, its amazing how one word can have a multitude of so many different meanings.
I gave it a 10 because of all of the above reasons. I've never played any of the previous God of War games but after finishing this one I'll definitely look into it and can't wait for the sequel to this one.
