God of War

Having played through all of the God of War games, I must admit that this game totally blew my expectations out of the water from the moment I popped in the disc on my PS4. The graphics looks like a real life fantasy world. As you explore with your Son the camera is pulled in a little closer which makes fighting feel more personable. Infused in this new God of War are NEW RPG elements that this game has never seen before and it works out flawlessly. Level up your AXE, YOUR SHIELD, YOUR SKILLS, YOUR SONS BOW. UPGRADE YOUR EUIPMENT, INFUSE RUNES AND COLLECT RARE ARTIFACTS TO MAKE STRONGER GEAR. How awesome does that sound? Of course it would mean nothing without a good plot and good combat. Which both I would give an A+. New to the series are a sort of open-world exploration. Side-quests allow other stories to form on a smaller scale and allow you to collect rare items. This game is sort of in the same vein as the reinvented Tomb Raider. It just feels good. Oh and did I mention you can ride around the seas in a boat? As you blast through spirits and undead, string together combo's and skills while your son distracts them with the bow, you might sit back and say wow this is just F*CKIN' AWESOME. Fans of the old GOD OF WAR games fear not, giant monsters return like the bosses of the originals. Over-the-top action is here and in full force my friends. Now stop reading this review and go and pick this game up ASAP. Keep in mind, it's a SONY exclusive ;-)
