    Here we go again!

I have to admit, a part of me was very saddened when they announced that there was going to be another God of War game. God of War 3 was brilliant, the story of the tormented Kratos had finally come to an end. And yet ... Read Full Review

    could be much better

when God of War: Ascension I was very happy, because I was a big fan of the saga, but when it was said that it would be a prequel it discouraged me too, I'm not a prequel fan, but because of God of War I bought it at lau... Read Full Review

I admit that I was disappointed in this game.

I'm very fond of the God of War saga, so much so that it's my favorite, I think the original trilogy (GOW 1, 2 and 3) Spectacular, and the games they released for PSP and later came to PS3 are very good, I expected That ... Read Full Review

Another first class experience, but not quite as memorable

Although the story is not nearly as interesting when compared to the titanic events of God of War 3 (and how could it be? GoW3 was crazy!), this game is still first class in all other respects, at least in terms of singl... Read Full Review

God of War makes its return in similar fashion with an unfamiliar Kratos.

The main series having ended with God of War III, Sony Santa Monica had to take a different course to bring Kratos back onto the Playstation 3. That meant giving the players a Kratos they hadn't seen before. This is whe... Read Full Review

Not the newest ideas in GOW but still enjoyable to play.

God of War has probably been one of the most up and down series for me, I know I was really hard on the first two and a lot more lenient on the third one, look I'll be honest I still don't think the first two God of Wars... Read Full Review

God of War: Ascension is bloody, fun, and worth checking out for fans or new comers to the series.

Alright, the God of War series is a long running tale told in the style and time period of the Greek and Roman mythology through many different media outlets, including video-games, books, comics, and a movie is reporte... Read Full Review

OK but the series is losing steam at this point

I played this episode, well, because I felt like my commitment to series' I enjoy should continue as long as new entries are made. Unfortunately, the series is now starting to feel its age and, though fun, just did not ... Read Full Review

    Ah, Adventure!

Playing this God of War: Ascension, I felt relieved! As the previous one, it was all about boring "vengeance", and war cries and "why father this" "kneel to me now" and of course slash slash slash. This time Kratos go... Read Full Review

Ascension starts to show God of War's teeth, but still worth a play

The Good: Fantastic production values, fun new passive abilities, interesting new locales, decent storyThe Bad: Combat is tweaked to nearly being broken, no interesting or memorable boss fights, poor pacing and balancin... Read Full Review
