Wow. You look at this game and think is this really a PS2 game? The graphics are phenominal and the gameplay gets better. You play Kratos a man who at the start of the game jumps off a cliff but the story does not say anything about this really. The voice acting is excellent and so are the levels. Although there is no camera control you don't really need it as the camera is almost always in the perfect spot. The boss fights get better after slugging away at the guy with your blades of chaos (or the sword of Artemis) a o sign will appear. Get closer and press circle for a normally brutal kill that works like an interactive cutscene with you pressing the correct button to attack or dodge. With the sirens however he simply puts her head back. The puzzles in this game are challenging but after about 10 minutes or so you should work out what to do. Anyway i seriously hope that God of War 2 can provide the same brilliant gameplay.
