This game really isn't as bad as most people make it out to be!
The game picks up after the new movie G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra and gets into the story right away without really explaining anything at all. It uses the likeness of a few characters from the new movie but uses voice actors that sound straight out of the TV series. The game itself plays like an old arcade game with next gen graphics. The camera during gameplay is zoomed out so far that you don't really get to see the detail put into the characters but it is there. The scenery is nice and doesn't get too repetitive. The game has a lot of fan-service. Such as being able to pair up your favorite characters, friends or enemies. Many characters that didn't make it into the movie are in there too.
The worst things about the game would be how far the camera is zoomed out and how many of the characters look like they crapped their pants when they're running.
Overall the game is a fun experience for fans of G.I Joe in general. It's an arcade style game, if you play it hoping for anything more, then of course you will be let down. I recommend renting it.
