A true tale of goblins, ghosts, demons, and a king rescuing a princess named Prin-Prin.

User Rating: 8.7 | Makai-Mura NES
:Good Idea:
· The graphics are awesome. There's plenty of background images floating around, awesome character creations, and lots of details flying across your screen at once. The graphics are spooky, but more in a kid's way.
· The music is awesome. It's like an action packed horror film done in midi.
· The concept of the game is pretty good. You are King Arthur fighting your way to save a princess with a name like Prin-Prin. In the way of your journey, you fight zombies and demons. It's set up like a cartoony version of Castlevania.
· A good range of weapons, such as the the faster flying dagger and the multi-killing axe.
· Each boss in the end level is well detailed and designed. Each one actually feels like a boss, which means they're extra hard. This isn't going to be a 15 minute rush fest if you've never played this game before.
· Upon having one life bar left, Arthur will begin his battle in his heart-patterned boxers.

:Bad Idea:
· Unless you are extremely good, this game is incredibly hard to beat. It's actually one of the hardest games on the NES. Not that it's a terrible thing, but it will turn a lot of people off to the idea of this game.
· The flame weapon is complete utter crap.
· No boss named "Black Knight". (Python fans need not apply).

:Overall:
· A good classic to have for Halloween, and a good classic to own period. If you have a NES and want to get a good game, pick this title up today.
