... First time I'd seen the Genji trailer was on Playstation Experience Show , that went by in Moscow in 16-18 September of 2005 year . In walking on Experience Party I came up to unknown japenese arcade that attracted me by its brightness . There was Genji : Dawn of Samurai ... First what had attracted my attention of this demo was the unbelieveable beauty of existent act on monitor ; it was really one I'd never seen before ... It's hard to me to describe that , but it was somewhat from unknown world !!!! Most colourful and beautiful graphics I'd ever seen on PS2 , interesting storyline and real japanese atmosphere had joggled me to decide that I'd buy this game anyways ! So it was ... For few weeks I'd passed through out whole Genji on all difficulty levels and unlocked all secrets except one ! And I recommend Genji to all who wants to dive in amazing samurai's world , with perfect graphics and new fighting system ! It was written in Russian edition of OPS2 Magazine about Genji that there would be more Genji's sequals ( like Onimusha series ) with nothing new but with all existing that would bring to perfection , and I agree it ! Genji is the peculiar and unrepetable action-adventure , and if it would be changed even though a little bit it wouldn't be Genji more ! That game is really for gamers addicted to japanese culture ( like me ) and simply for the people who wants some new action game ! It's a good game !
P.S. It's funny , but japanese name's generator has translated my true surname on japanese language as Genji !!!! Maybe in my veins true Genji blood is streaming ...
P.S.2. As I have read some History of Japan' s book , it has out that Genji and Taira Clans from game were really existed !!!! So it means that game storyline is based on true historic events !!!! So I am awaiting for new Genji on PS3 ...
With respect to all gamers , Sinmaru
