Very good game but shorter than my thumbnail.

Review of Genji: Dawn of the Samurai.

PROS: Beautiful, highly detailed environments, some nice combo moves with either Benkei or yoshisune, Dramatic boss fights, cool death animations, kami move is reminiscent to the matrix, some of the enemies offer quite a challenge
similar to onimusha.

CONS: So f*cking short(!), No English audio track, characters aren't that engaging because the game is so short to fully develop them, story is kinda dull, Yoshisune looks kinda girly, youll find yourself wondering" what is the story of this game again?" Too much like Onimusha.

Genji had the potential to be an excellent game but many setbacks such as 4 hours of gameplay in length and uninspiring characters make it fall short of greatness. HOWEVER, genji is still a GOOD game because all of the good things about it are in such great quantity that it's pros are more noticable than its cons. Genji is a fun experience, (at least while it lasts) and fans of Onimusha and samurai should enjoy this game.
