It's a borefest

Game Sypnosis/Spoiler:-

The story revolves around a King who had committed the 7 threachery to the world in his bid to "conquer" the world. It is only after he sealed/killed away the 4 heroes in the game, then he realised his tainted ways. In order to undo his sins, he relieved of himself his first sorrow, the crucification of the four heroes on the tree of something (i forgot what's the name). Okay, you kill me, then you resurrect me and ask me to help u clean your 6 other sins ??? The remaining 6 sorrow is the boss of each stage. I seriously didn't catch thier names because it was a dull affair.

Gameplay:-
Plays a lot like Champions of norrath, whereby you start on each stage and kill everything and everyone at sight, or they in turn will kill you. It's only plays like CON, but without the complex and interesting story that CON had. From the start till the very last swing of your weapon in this game, you will be mashing combos stage by stage until well, the credit will roll. The difficulty in this game is fair, and block is definately your friend. Although there is a difficulty level called "Impossible", which only serves as a mode to frustrate more than entertain. I finished this game in 7 hours on normal mode and i picked up a total of 62 game over screen. So it's "fairly" difficult. :D . Combos are easy to pull off and magic spells are animated with vibrant colours. There are 4 character class in the game, the warrior, elf, wizard and one lady i forgot the class name. I only play through the game using Great Wizard and as usual, wizard are very weak during the first few stages and become a powerhouse during the latter stages.

Bosses in this game are pretty straightforward and some a pretty cheap too. And to my dismay the final boss in the game was by far the easiest to kill. You just have to fend off a hordes of troll from stopping you to fire the arrow at that big piece of brick. The character do level up, although i manage to finish the game at level 23, it's capped at 50 by the way. The game is definately have it's fun when you play using a multitap for a 4 player romp. Alone very sien la.

Graphics:-
Above average is my presumtion. Nicely rendered spells and knockback on enemies are fluid. There are some glitches in the game but nothing major. Weapon and Armour upgrades will make your character an eye candy to look at. Loading was extremely slow using disc but no issue when playing using HDD. The game cutscene will skip when playing using disc, something i find very annoying. But you won't miss much because the cutscene is like using cardboard character and moving it from one side to another.

Sound:-
Ok la, not bad. All sound effects are spot on. Again the disc have a sound scratching issue. Skipping whenever it pleases. I find it annoying whenever the King utter, "Great Wizard needs food", "Great Wizard is about to die" and the most annoying of them all, "Great Wizard has died". This normally become like a looping tape as you kept getting hit by the enemies and it adds both a frustrating factor and humour factor at the same time.

Control:-
Hmm.. the character runs too fast and always do a skating motion when your trying to stop. Button are very responsive and dishing combo is easy. Nice and simple control layout.

Replay Value:-
I find this game pretty lame in the replay value factor for single player. This would be greatly enhance if your playing with your mates or even online. Once you finish with one character there really isn't much else to play with unless you want to try the game once with each character. I tell you la, even though thier class is different, the amount of damage they dish out are the same. So diversity in character contruction is always a problem in games these days.
