it's OMG bad.

User Rating: 4.4 | Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows PS2
Okay. I've never really played the original gauntlet game but I have played Legends and Dark Legacy. There isn't too much about this game that is good.

The story is the emperor has enemies that have troubled him and he calls them his "Sorrows". You and 3 other companions must take down this seven sorrows and end the suffering. After you beat them that's it no great ending.

Gameplay is X basic, Circle ranged, Square defensive, Triangle pop up attacks, L1 block, right analog stick to do kind of a jumping attack, left analog moves, D-pad is special moves, and R1 to activate and open items. As you level up you get money and points to spend on Health, Combos/Special Moves, Mana Regen, and Damage.

Graphics look like the've been pulled straight out of Warcraft 3. It's disapointing for a late 2005 game to look like this. Cinematics basically are in game or they are drawn on like an animated movie/production.

The sound is basic Gauntlet. Voiceover people moaning, the narrator, and the guy who says "Red Elf (yes elf no real class) needs food badly". Characters to choose from are Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf, and Wizard. I didn't play any longer then I needed to see if there was any unlockable characters.

After you beat this game there is not that much to do online is horrible because it's choppy and slow, it's also rare to experience that considering nobody are really playing. If you haven't played it with anybody else it's same old if you have four controllers, a multi-tap, and 3 other friends try it.

Overall I'll give this, Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows a 4.4 poor.
