Sonic R Cheats For Saturn

  1. Easy way to control the locked characters

    Note:You must have two controllers.

    Go on your normal way to get the 5 tokens on Resort Island and challenge Metal Sonic. Lose to him, and then right after it go to the ''versus'' option. The first player will have highlighted the character that raced against Metal Sonic, and the second player will have Metal Sonic highlighted! Now you scroll through the locked characters and choose the one you want, without getting the portrait.

    CAUTION: If you leave the locked area, you must do the cheat again to can be there again.

  2. Play With the "R"

    At the Title Screen, press on the D-Pad to rotate the R in that direction. Press the (B) button to change the color of the R to a metallic outlook. Press (X) and (Y) to lighten or darken the R. Press the (A) button to restore the R to its former color.

  3. Shrink/enlarge characters in menu screens

    In any menu, press Z or Y to enlarge or shrink the spinning 3D item.

  5. Unlockables

    Unlockable Unlockable
    Puppet Tails Collect all 5 Sonic Tokens on Radical City and finish in the top 3, then beat him in the challenge race
    Cyber Knuckles Collect all 5 Sonic Tokens on Reactive Factory and finish in the top 3, then beat him in the challenge race
    Egg Robo Collect all 5 Sonic Tokens on Regal Ruins and finish in the top 3, then beat him in the challenge race
    Metal Sonic Collect all 5 Sonic Tokens on Resort Island and finish in the top 3, then beat him in the challenge race
    Super Sonic Collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds, then press Up on Sonic at the character select screen
    Radiant Emerald Bonus Course Place 1st in the 4 initial courses
    Dr. Robotnik Place 1st on the Radiant Emerald Course

Sonic R Cheats For PC

  1. Access Radiant Emerald

    To gain access to the ''X''ed out stage, Radiant Emerald, place 1st in all of the races in Grand Prix mode.

  2. Skip the Credits

    To skip the Credits, hold down the Action, Accelerate, and Change View buttons and press Start.

  3. Zoom

    To check out the track's picture closer up or farther away at the Course Select Screen, press Up and Down to zoom in and out. This only works on the Track Select Screen.

  4. Play as the Same Character

    For everyone to be the same person in Multi-Player Mode, hold down the Change View button and press Action. This will work for all four players.

  5. Instant Demo

    To get to the demo faster, press Action and Accelerate at the same time. You can also skip the SEGA and Traveller's Tales screens this way.

  6. Play with the ''R''

    At the Title Screen, press the directional controls to rotate the ''R'' in that direction. Press the Change View button to change its color.

  7. Unlocking Characters

    Perform these tasks in Grand Prix mode to unlock the following characters.

    Beat Radiant Emerald track Dr. Eggman
    Collect all five Sonic faced coins on Ruins track and place at least third Egg Robo
    Collect all five Sonic faced coins on Factory track and place at least third Metal Knuckles
    Collect all five Sonic faced coins on Island track and place at least third Metal Sonic
    Collect all five Sonic faced coins on City track and place at least third Puppet Tails
    Collect all seven Chaos Emeralds found on the tracks (You must place in first to keep the Chaos Emeralds you collected.) Super Sonic
