    This deserves a higher score.

I don't understand all the negative reviews surrounding this game. I found it fun and entertaining while it lasted. This game is absolutely gorgeous, visually impressive and does what it sets out to do. The combat is si... Read Full Review

Not as bad as the critics say

Yes, the combat can be repetitive, and yes, constantly seeing the same enemies can be a little irritating, but it didn't stop me from enjoying this stunning thrill ride. It feels like playing through a big Hollywood blo... Read Full Review

    X,Y,X,X,Y, hold X

At first glance, Ryse: Son of Rome looks wonderful. The environments are rich in color and design, both barbarian and Roman soldiers alike look completely real, and the smallest things, such as swords and shields, glow ... Read Full Review

    Decent, but....

I personally like the game all in all, but I have an issue with the length of the campaign and minor details of the multiplayer. The campaign could use a lot more in the way of explaining the time between major fights. ... Read Full Review

Ryse was one of the big games shown for Microsofts E3 conference and when I first saw it I was intrigued and excited to play it. As Ryse began to be reviewed many gave Ryse poor grades, for a repetitve shallow beatem up ... Read Full Review

    Ryse: Son of Rome

Ryse went through an interesting journey on it's way to become an Xbox launch title this year. It started out as a Kinect game before that was entirely scrapped, and in the end it became a "God of War" clone in the eyes ... Read Full Review

What a Great Game! Gamespot's review is shockingly low!!!

I saw some commercials for this game and couldn't wait to get my hands on it, along with an XBOX One. Before purchase I checked out the reviews and was very disappointed that it scored so low on Gamespot. But once i star... Read Full Review

Ryse: Son of Rome honest review

When I first saw footage of the Kinect game that Ryse was supposed to be originally, I wasn't impressed at all. Later on when they changed it to its current form I got a little bit interested, but the negative footage sh... Read Full Review
