You'd be amazed how awesome Portal is, just a shame that it's a very short game indeed.
Portal had been one of those games I wouldn't be bother in trying, but I saw this game on offer for free on Steam thought I'd check it out. Within the first few minutes I was really sucked into Portal. Released back in 2... Read Full Review

Very new and exciting type of puzzles that really makes your goes upside down thinking and you might even over evaluate the situation you are in. The campaign is REAAALLLY short, you can even finish it by less than 4 ... Read Full Review

I don't like to like what everybody likes but if you don't like this you might as well give up on the whole industry.
This game has all the key elements in the right amount. It has perfect pacing, a progressive difficulty that goes hand to hand with the learning curve and a great atmosphere that intensifies gradually. It tells you a... Read Full Review

It's a nice little diversion from more serious gameplay. Sadly, it offers very little beyond that.
I will confess at the outset that I only played Portal for about 4 hours, 3 hours of the main campaign and 1 hour of the advanced chambers (more difficult version of some puzzles from the campaign). Already I am tired of... Read Full Review

I'm so glad I got this game. Didn't know much about it until Portal 2 was being advertised and heard a lot of good things about it. Well, they're all true. This is a great game! Highs: - Simple to pick up - some of ... Read Full Review

This review approved by the Aperture Science Board of Quality Assurance and Control.
[Portal 2 comes out in two hours, and I'm writing this now before the sequel clouds my judgement of this game, for better or worse.] GLaDOS, Portal's wonderfully passive-aggressive villain, spends a good deal of time ... Read Full Review

A fun and challenging game that leaves you wanting more.
Portal is what I believe the worst game as part of the 'Orange Box' but the worst game is truly one of the best of 2008. It's a magnificent piece of work that challenges you yet doesn't leave you frustrated. The story is... Read Full Review

This was a triumph...I'm making a note here... "HUGE SUCCESS"
~Portal, a game that has to be the most original and innovative of any puzzle/strategy game ive ever laid hands on. First tried the game from the Orange Box on 360 and absolutely despised it because i became, beyond l... Read Full Review
