A visually stunning game with a good concept, but still has much to improve.
I really liked the trailers for this game, and the idea of it being all based on free running techniques. I enjoyed these types of things in other games I've played like Assassin's Creed, but I think having played anothe... Read Full Review

Mirror's Edge is a fresh & fast-paced first-person parkour game, despite some problematic level design & combat.
When I first saw gameplay footage of Mirror's Edge, I was skeptical about it. First of all, it had a really cool concept that hasn't been done before: a first-person running game that has you leaping from rooftop to roof... Read Full Review

If you liked the time trials mode from Mirror's Edge, this DLC is for you.
Mirror's Edge was an innovative FPS game that primarily focused on movement rather than shooting. After finishing the main storyline campaign, there was a time trials mode that reduced the focus on gun play even further... Read Full Review

Not your average first person shooter.
While Mirror's Edge uses the familiar first person perspective of many games, it probably won't feel like other FPS games you may have played. Rather than focusing on combat, it is usually best to avoid combat entirely ... Read Full Review

This a good game, sadly short but if it had a little more work on it, it could of been one of the best games out there.
This is fun while it lasted with its heart pumping levels this made me think it's a great game. The multiplayer is quite weak with it's time trial mode where you have to beat ghosts trying to get to checkpoints in a qui... Read Full Review

The many faults this game exhibits detract from what could have been a great, unique game for the PC.
I tried to like this game, I honestly did. Playing through this game, I tried to appreciate all the seemingly outstanding features that this game had. With its nearly photorealistic graphics, addictive platforming ga... Read Full Review

Feels more like a demo or "proof of concept" than a real game.
Mirror's Edge has been out for quite a while now, so I managed to pick it up for about $15. Let me tell you that I would have been spewing bile had I payed full price. A lot of people have written a lot of things abou... Read Full Review

Great idea, terrible execution.
Mirror's Edge, as a premise, shows a lot of promise. The basic idea of using parkour to move across rooftops with speed and fluidity is simple yet brilliant. However, Mirror's Edge frequently (oh, so frequently) interupt... Read Full Review

This game has its moments, and they are great! Unfortunately they are found among frustration and repetition.
Mirror's Edge is a nice break from the genres of games most of us are used to playing. The game is comparable to Portal as it it a puzzle game at heart, in the sense that it is linear but the correct pathway is hidden. ... Read Full Review

Mirror's Edge has the potental to be a great game series.
Audio: 6/10 The music is alright and the voice acting is descent but there is nothing here that really packs a punch. Sound effects are kind of weak as well. Definently a lot of room for improvement. Visuals: 7/10 T... Read Full Review
