(+) Deep and addictive beast raising game play; stunning visuals and beautiful forests to explore through; likable characters blend the story greatly (-) merging process not as dynamic as its PS1 predecessor For be... Read Full Review

I heard positive things of jade cocoon and this sequel misses the hardcore features....more mainstream audience RPG.

THE GOOD: A vast array of monsters to train each with their own stlye and flare. A few old favorites make it to the PS 2 like Levant, Mu, and Ra. The Sweet Knights are cute (they remind me of misty and her sisters from ... Read Full Review

    Good, but...

I've been looking forward to a decent monster hunting and raising game on the PS2 for a while. Jade Cocoon 2 fulfills that role pretty decently with a unique combat system. The encounters aren't random, but I do wish the... Read Full Review

For a Pokémon ripoff it's still an okay game.

It's time to hunt kalma! The divine beasts of Jade Cocoon had been sealed away in the Wormhole Forest, but they've been trying to make their escape back into the human world. Some kalma have even taking to mimicking huma... Read Full Review
