The Coalition has crafted a faithful homage to a nine-year-old game, but hasn't completely erased the blemishes of the past, especially on PC.
The PC version of Gears of War is everything the 360 version was and more.
Gears of War is an outstanding technical achievement, but in addition to looking and sounding amazing, it's a seriously awesome action game.
