Dungeon Siege II Cheats For PC

  1. Two-handed weapon exploit

    Conflict between two-handed weapon and offhand equipment is ignored when you are in spell-casting mode instead of melee attack mode. Therefore two-handed weapons can be equiped together with either a shield or a single-hand weapon (at least until it is patched).

    Equip a two-handed weapon together with a shield:
    1. Equip a shield, leave your main hand empty
    2. Select a spell instead of melee attack as your action
    3. Equip a two-handed weapon onto your main hand

    Equip a two-handed weapon together with a single-hand weapon:
    1. Equip two single-hand weapon onto both hands
    2. Select a spell instead of melee attack as your action
    3. Remove the single-hand weapon from your main hand, then equip a two-handed weapon onto the main hand

    If you wield a two-handed weapon together with a single-hand weapon, you will still be able to initiate Dual-Wield powers such as Wave of Force and Elemental Rage, and at the same time you still benefit from the two-handed weapon skills, such as the chance to stun bonus.

  2. Cheat codes

    Press [Enter] during game play and type [ + ] followed by one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. To disable a code, type [ - ] followed by the code.

  3. Difficulty Modes

    Mercanary is the default mode. Higher difficulties will allow more members to join your party.

  2. Target line codes.

    Right click on your "DS2 Broken World" Shortcut. Click on "Properties". Click on the "Shortcut" tab. Enter the code into the target line , after the text that is already there . Make sure to leave a space after the last quote and the beginning of your code. Make sure to leave a space between your codes.

    Effect Effect
    fullscreen=false Opens the game in a window.
    width=xxxxx height=xxxxx Sets Screen Resolution. Xs must be replaced with the desired resolution.

  3. DungeonSiege2BrokenWorld.ini Codes

    Codes that are entered at the end of the "DungeonSiege2BrokenWorld.ini" file.

    This file can be found in "C:\My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World". It can be edited just by opening it with "notepad.exe". Add the codes to the bottom of the file right below the last line of text. Each code takes up a separate line.

    tutorial_tips=false Removes all tutorial tips from a new game.
    noloadintro=true Skipes newgame movies.
    nointro=true Skips to main menu.
