To fully appreciate DA II, it may be beneficial to NOT have played the original.
Seriously, DA II is an excellent game in its own right. HOWEVER, if you're stacking it up against the original, it falls short. The storyline emphasis is still there, but it's incoherent (so far). Where DA:O was a... Read Full Review

Quite frankly I'm totally disappointed!
Quite frankly I'm totally disappointed! It's a point and click, hyped up, tunnel. One of the things that makes a good RPG these days is the ability to roam, walk off the beat track, explore... as in Dragon Age I, F... Read Full Review

I feel Bio-lated.... with no lubrication
I am so incredibly let down by Bioware with this release. Following what I considered one of the best RPG games released since Balder's Gate, I expected Dragon Age 2 at minimum to fill the shoes of its predecessor. I... Read Full Review

Very disappointing sequel. It's not Dragon Age, figures Baldurs Gate...
Remember Dragon Age Origins? Well, take all the good things DAO gave to you and forget them all. Dragon Age II is not worth the money you have to spend to play it, not now, maybe later in some kind of low budget releas... Read Full Review

Dragon Age 2 is definitely a wonderful gaming experience in general, but it will alienate it's fanbase.

I started playing DA:O yesterday just to remember it a bit so I would be able to compare the two games. My first thought was: why does DA2 feel like a nerd fight? I mean, you see the enemy, you charge towards him and the... Read Full Review

No ROLEPLAY-Game, sorry
Sadly DA2 is no roleplay Game in my Opinion anymore. The only two things this game has is fighting (with much blood and exploding hordes of enemies, which are reminding me more of Dynasty Warriors than Dragon Age - l... Read Full Review

This is not Dragon Age. This is not a RPG. This is not even a PC game.
Dragon Age 2 is another in a long line of diluted bastardized franchises meant to appeal to the widest possible audience. Why haven't I fully accepted that this is how the gaming industry operates nowadays? I don't know ... Read Full Review
