While similar in many areas, Banjo-Kazooie's charm and worlds make this a stand-out platformer.
Ever since the grand debut of Super Mario 64, there have been, predictably enough, other games of similar structure. You would have wacky character placed in strange worlds collecting tons of items. But these kinds of co... Read Full Review

Banjo-Kazooie is a game I've played for years, and will continue to play until my 64 breaks down.
If you're into older games, and thinking about a 3D platformer/adventure games, than this will most likely fill the bill. Banjo-Kazooie was the prime of its time, and still offers more fun than some newer games comin... Read Full Review

A classic Rare game from the N64 era is now to be found on XBox Live Arcade.
Graphics: 10/10 The graphics are around 10 years old, so they're obviously going to be polygonal and definitely not HD. The graphics are enhanced for XBLA, however, and remain as colorful and varied as ever. Sound: 10... Read Full Review

The BK series never fails to deliver!
I 1st played this in the 90's for the N64, my god how long ago. But it remains as I still remember it a true legend of a game and 1 of the 1's to remember for the N64. It is in fairness a very simple game in compariso... Read Full Review

Despite some annoying growing pains, collecting Jiggies is still as fun as it was over a decade ago.
Back when the idea of a fully-explorable 3D world in a video game was still relatively new, one of the most popular genres was the "collect-a-thon" platformer. This type of game revolved around exploring a huge world and... Read Full Review

A good classic Nintendo 64 game, but it just doesn't feel as fun as some of the other games that the system offers.
Don't get me wrong, Banjo Kazooie is a fun game. It has a very funny story line and characters, and you can see how good the graphics were at the time. Nintendo and Rare did a great job with the presentation for the game... Read Full Review
