Totally different than PC, but not as bad, but still....
For those of you thinking about getting the game because you liked the PC version and are wondering the differences and how good it is, I would read this first and then rent. First off, I would get the game with a man... Read Full Review

Its a first DS review for HiiperDrive as I review Backbone's PC port, Age of Empires; Age of Kings.
Seeing as I have been an avid Real-Time strategist for at least a couple of years now, I thought try something new. However, this isn't my first time on a Turn-Based game as Civilisation was once a game in my 'illustriou... Read Full Review

Age of Empires is a solid turn-based strategy game, so much so that sometimes it's not entirely noteworthy.
Here's a quick review... I've been holding out buying this game, but I've been on a strategy kick lately, after just recently beating the latest Advance Wars and playing some medieval strategy boardgames with friends.... Read Full Review

An amazingly addicting addition to the Age of Empires franchise.
-Overview- Age of Empires: Age of Kings is a worthy addition to the Age of Empires franchise. Temporaily abandoning the series' trademark real-time strategy, Majesco instead chose to go with turn-based strat... Read Full Review

Hours of enjoyment.

LOVED Age of Empires the Rise of Rome, But this game lacks the spirit and time that makes AoE a good fun game.
I got this thinking it would be like the computer game version. First off, it doesn't go online, so no fighting other people. A tiny letdown. Then I found you can't build more than like 2 different buildings, that made ... Read Full Review

Boring and very slow. All it really does is make me want to play the original again.
Well, here's a surprise: Age of Kings for the DS. Sound odd? It is. When You start it up, you are greeted by a remix of a familiar song. The featured art is a style I personally don't like, a complete change from the ori... Read Full Review

Just not a game for me, i think.
Well, this was my first Nintendo DS game, and i liked it a little bit at the beginning, but i didn't love it. I was not playing it for so long, before it got too boring, and i haven't turned it on since. It's quite too... Read Full Review
