Old school in more than one meaning, still great though if you take it as it is and don't expect a skyrim-budget WRPG.

Great characters, uneven quality of voice-acting, so-so combat, surprisingly deep RPG-elements, although most of that depth only comes into play at the end of the game. The graphics are for the most part very outdated, but armours and weapons are superb looking and fits well into the world of ASOIF, as do the characters and world itself, which remains very true to the books. They've captured the atmosphere of the books in a way I did not think they would, but they've really done a great job there, it leaves one to wonder what they've might have been able to do with a larger budget. The game could've done well with more polish, and more time spent on modernising the the graphics, but overall the atmosphere does just enough for me to look past the outdated aspects of the game. The amount of choices you can make during the course of the game is done really, really well, and the producers have taken great care to weave them together in a way that makes the story, no matter what path you choose, make sense and also feel satisfying. Look past the apparent flaws and you'll enjoy a great WRPG.
